In Hexplore, players control a party of four heroes, a warrior, adventurer, magician, and archer, as they journey across over 200 maps to stop the dark magician Garkham from obtaining the Book of Hexplore and reaching the Garden of Eden. The game features a full 360-degree camera system that allows free rotation during exploration and combat, enabling players to survey environments and aim attacks from any angle. Progress is made through real-time action RPG mechanics, requiring tactical positioning and skill use to defeat enemies and solve environmental obstacles across varied medieval-themed landscapes.
