The story revolves around the disappearance of the Ihapian Church’s most sacred relic, the Tears of the Gods. A band of ruthless pirates hired by Sidi, a ghostly half-mad wizard, attempt to capture the teardrop from Ishapia’s treasure ship; However, in doing so, they accidentally sink the ship and send the teardrop to the bottom of the Bitter Sea.

Your attempts to recover the teardrop inadvertently draw you and your party into a vicious three-way battle over the relic. Your quest will take you from the dizzying heights of the Palace of Krondor, through the winding sewer tunnels beneath the city, and into the haunted depths of a temple dedicated to an evil as old as the gods themselves.
