In Return of the Obra Dinn, you play as an insurance adjuster for the East India Company in 1807, investigating the fate of the merchant ship Obra Dinn, which reappears after being lost at sea with all hands missing or dead. Using a magical pocket watch called the Memento Mortem, you witness the exact moment of each crew member's death, then deduce their identity and cause of death through careful observation and logical elimination, gradually filling out the ship's manifest and uncovering the truth behind the tragedy.
