Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition is a first-person shooter where players control Duke Nukem as he battles alien invaders across Earth and beyond. The game features 36 levels spread across four episodes, including the original three episodes plus a new fourth episode titled 'The Birth'. Players navigate complex environments, solve simple puzzles, and engage enemies using a diverse arsenal including the Mighty Boot, shotgun, chaingun, RPG, pipe bombs, and shrink ray. The Atomic Edition includes enhanced textures, improved lighting effects, and additional enemy types not present in the original release.
