Townscaper is a casual building toy with no goals or objectives,just create charming ocean-side towns by placing colorful blocks on an irregular grid. An underlying algorithm automatically transforms your placements into houses, arches, stairways, and gardens. More of an experimental toy than a conventional game, it offers a relaxing sandbox of pure construction and beauty.
Townscaper overview
Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.
No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That’s it.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper’s underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

Download, Install, and Play

- Download Townscaper v1.2.1 [latest]. Wait until it is 100% complete, then locate the files.
- Install the game:
- Run or double-click
setup_********.exe. - If a DLC folder is included, run any
.exefiles inside it as well.
- Run or double-click
- After the installation is complete, launch the game and start playing.
