Players lead a party of up to six adventurers through a story driven by dialogue choices, faction reputations, and consequences that shape the world. Combat uses real-time with pause mechanics, allowing tactical control over positioning, abilities, and enemy targeting. The Royal Edition includes the base game, The White March expansion parts I and II, and bonus digital content such as the novella 'The White March', an art book, the original soundtrack, and a strategy guide.
