Overview

About this game:
The latest from veteran developer Con Artist Games, creators of The Last Stand series of games, The Last Stand: Aftermath is an all new, premium singleplayer standalone action adventure rogue-lite. Choose a survivor to set forth and explore the ruins of civilization, finding fuel to travel to new locations and gathering supplies to craft weapons and more.

It’s Dangerous Out There

You’ll need to stay on your toes, since hordes of zombies still roam the streets, and you’re no superhuman. In fact, you’re one of the infected yourself, and eventually you’ll die, be it from the hostile undead or the virus rampaging through your body. But when that happens, you’ll pick up the game again as a new survivor, with perks and upgrades earned based on your progress from the last, and set out to try again.

Features:

– Sneak and fight your way through a dangerous post-apocalyptic wasteland

– Outwit hordes of rabid infected, some with deadly special abilities

– Scavenge for materials to craft into weapons and supplies

– Risk undeath by using powerful mutations to make yourself stronger

– When one survivor dies, start up again as another, with new unlocks based on progress

– A tense and moody, atmospheric zombie experience

    • Please make sure you meet the system requirements and installed all the needed redistributables (Look @ FAQs page).
You can also try running the game in administrator.
      Hope this helps.

    • Sorry tried searching but this is still the latest we can find at the moment, but dont worry once found the new update we will post it

    • Sorry to know that pelopidas, can you please confirm if you meet the system requirements of the game? Have you installed all the needed redistributables on our FAQs page? Have you tried installing or running the game as administrator?

  1. I used to play the online version of this game for about a year, unfortunately this gam is not running on my pc. I went through all the trouble shooting options:
    – my system is well above the hardware requirements
    – I already have the latest versions of the downloadable softwares I’ve seen to be mentioned on this site (at FAQ), but I double checked them just in case
    – I have disabled Windows Firewall because some people mentioned it on youtube
    – ran the game in admin-mode (set in “Properties” option)
    – set graphical performance to minimal in all options in the game menu
After all these I start a game in the menu (“Continue” in the first save slot) and after I go through the intro that says 5% of humanity stayed alive I just get a full white screen with the rainy background sound. Game doesn’t crashes though and its not freezing either, I just can’t see a thing. Strange because 9 games out of 10 I used to download from here are working on my pc. Any advice anyone? Tnx

    • Sorry Blacknight81, not really sure about the problem it might be a bug on some system we tried searching and didn’t get direct result for the problem. Checked for latest version and it is already the latest from at the moment 🙁 No worries once found an update we promise to post it as soon as we can.

    • As of this date game-running issues has been sorted out and thanks for that – the game is running smoothly. However the whole game (with the battle-mechanics at the first place) is just messed up. The online version of this game was a cutting edge blockbuster, this game is but a shadow of it, the fighting mechanics are hard to say the least, I struggled even in the beginning after leaving the camp. I really don’t think anyone would enjoy a post-apocalyptic rpg game (which is a very good frame-story) with protagonists dieing every now and then.
