I want to play this game so bad so I decide to download the “not safe” torrent to see what’s the problem is. Even without antivirus I know there’s a problem with the exe installer but I also immediately know another anomaly. To make thing short just delete setup_doom_3_bfg_1.14_(13452).exe (1.8MB), rename setup_doom_3_bfg_1.14_(13452).bin (742kB) to setup_doom_3_bfg_1.14_(13452).exe and install from there

How to get the correct files?
The magnet link on this same page (before it was removed) HAS THE CORRECT FILES!!!
Out of 3 files, just delete the one infected file.
Remember – the torrent here gives you 3 files.
You just have to delete the ~1MB exe file – which is not signed by GOG.
Then change extension of setup_doom_3_bfg_1.14_(13452).bin to EXE (742 KB, signed by GOG).
Now you will have 2 files – one EXE (742 KB) and one BIN file (3.93 GB).
Both files are legit, install and enjoy!

Wow did not read anything about all this drama before I downloaded it lol.
In any case it works 100% safe and perfect for me and is a really fun but scary as hell (no pun intended) game 🙂 Im 10 hours in and constantly about to have a heart attack but as I said this game is CLEAN. Only small problem is that Doom 1 and 2 dont work without crashing but thats most likely a problem on my end, and besides I got them and Final doom originals from you and they work perfect (note to anyone who gets those games CHANGE the controls with the launch settings!)

it works but i cant even get past the first cutscene after the intro. if i move my mouse ore press any key it freezes up for a few seconds. i cant find any info on how to fix it….
Please make sure Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 is installed both x64 and x86 you can find other software’s from Microsoft on our FAQs page to avoid errors.

question? i can play ahrkam city in low specs, I download this, can i play this. I have a and equivalent to a stardard i5.
Sorry not really sure as most of game sometime depends on CPU & GPU so we just stick to specs that was provided
it wont load, says error upon start up. it does show doom 3 main page as its loading, than a notice pops up error, press ok
and then it goes back home screen
