About this game:
A Light in the Dark is a visual novel with anime-inspired art. This representative of the genre differs from similar projects in the atmosphere of a tense thriller and a higher level of interactivity. The title has elements of a quest. The gameplay is not limited to just reading text and making choices. The protagonist can interact with the environment. The indie project “Light in the Darkness” has a very depressing and tough plot. The son of a millionaire was chosen for the role of the protagonist. One day, a guy named Hao-Chen Jiang is kidnapped when he comes home from school. A young man wakes up in an unknown house. He understands that he is connected. Soon, two sisters appear before him, armed with knives.

Hao-Chen Jiang did not understand what it was when he opened his eyes. Before him was a dim and dreary room that he had not seen before. Trying to get up to turn on the lights, he finds that his arms are tied behind him and that is when he realizes that he’s been kidnapped. It is then that a mysterious girl appears before him and with a look of disdain tells him that he’s been kidnapped and unless his family agrees to pay a ransom he has no chance to escape. But perhaps there is more to this than just money…
