About this game:
Galactic Civilizations 1: Ultimate Edition is a 4X space strategy game in which the fate of mankind will fall on your shoulders. The events take place in the distant future of 2178. The Terran Alliance have invented a new technology – Hyperdrive. The secret of its development fell into the hands of many inhabitants of the galaxy and now they use it as a race to conquer new colonies. You control the United Earth organization and must build a base, create an economic system, research the latest technologies and train a regular army in order to have influence in the political arena. Balance your skills in diplomatic and trade relations, with firepower and forceful influence on competitors. The Ultimate Edition combines the original Galactic Civilizations campaign with the Altarian Prophecy expansion.
