X Gold includes 2 parts with an add-on that expands the gameplay. The journey begins in “X: Beyond the Frontier”, taking the player to the future. Humanity has achieved a technological breakthrough and was able to move between galaxies, exploring stars and new worlds. Huge and automated machines are designed to colonize new planets, but a mistake has been made in the programming. After a while, artificial intelligence returned to the native place of people and attacked them. The user takes control of Kyle Brennan. He gained control of an Experimental Shuttle capable of traveling long distances on its own. Once in a distant galaxy, the space transport goes out of order, and the main character finds himself in an unknown place among alien creatures. He is on the verge of death. You will need to survive and use any methods for this. In the storyline, gamers need to learn the secrets of their ancestors and help humanity defeat the Terraformers, better known as the Xenon race.
