Combat Mission Battle for Normandy is a tactical wargame that recreates land warfare in Western France after the D-Day landings. Players command American and German infantry, armor, and support units across four campaigns and 21 standalone scenarios. The game simulates morale, spotting, line of sight, and realistic ballistics using a hybrid real-time and turn-based system. Orders are given in real time, then executed simultaneously in tactical turns. Both single-player and head-to-head multiplayer modes are supported, emphasizing tactical decision-making over fast reflexes.
