This is something I’ve been looking for for the longest time, since it’s impossible to find any physical copies, and battle.net doesn’t allow me to download the first two diablo games for whatever reason.
I tried it out of curiosity (I have the CD of the “normal” version), but it didn’t work for me, the launcher says “Can’t start appliaction because your configuration is wrong”. I tried configuring properly dxcfg.exe, ipxconfig.exe and vidsize.exe, but it still didn’t work.

yes, it didn’t work.
it doesn’t matter anyway, I can play the original.
I’ll try the gog version again in some months if there’s an update.

Try to install redist from Microsoft like visual C++, DirectX, and .Net Framework.

Virus. The moment it was installing, it causes a lot of problems. Found a lot of programs on my pc that were not there before. Do not download.

You will not get any torrent file coz we are using magnet link. All you need it uTorrent downloader to download the games here. Please read our faqs page for more info.

I think you are confusing this with Diablo 2.
There is no confusion. In fact, there IS a Barbarian class (as well as the Bard and Monk classes) in Diablo 1: Hellfire. The thing is that only the Monk class is visible at first; the Barbarian and Bard classes are hidden in the game as an Easter egg. In order to activate these two classes:
1) Go to the “hellfire” folder inside the “Diablo” folder;
2) Create a .txt documment named “command.txt”;
3) Copy and paste the following line inside the “command.txt” file:
cowquest;theoquest;bardtest;multitest;barbariantest;
4) Save.
After doing that, the two hidden classed will be available to play.

– Microsoft .NET Framework
– Microsoft DirectX

Upload Diablo 2

Are you gonna seed this thing or what. the download is very slow, almost it’s not even happening
I am just encountering an issue when I play the game. When I play the Cathedral Level 1 and my character reaches level 3, I cannot return to town without the game crashing and saying ERROR: Unable to open save file.
I have tried switching off the antivirus, moving it to a different folder, tried different compatibility settings. Nothing works. I want to try this game out but I can’t play anything past Cathedral Level 1.
Does anyone have a solution for this ? 🙁
