Returning warriors are joined by legendary bosses including Amakusa, Mizuki, Zankuro, and Gaoh, creating one of the largest lineups in the classic series. Manage the Sword Gauge, unleash Rage Explosion, and use Concentration One to create openings during tense duels. Every fighter also gains a devastating character-specific Overkill Move for dramatic finishing attacks.

- Choose from 28 playable warriors, including returning favorites and legendary boss characters from earlier games.
- Play as Amakusa Shiro Tokisada, Mizuki Rashojin, Zankuro Minazuki, and Gaoh Kyogoku Hinowanokami.
- Manage the Sword Gauge, which rewards deliberate timing instead of constant attacking.
- Activate Rage Explosion to sacrifice your normal Rage Gauge for a temporary burst of offensive power.
- Use Concentration One to slow the opponent and create opportunities for powerful counterattacks.
- Perform unique Overkill Moves that give every character a brutal finishing technique.
- Fight through carefully rebalanced weapon-based battles where spacing, timing, and powerful single strikes remain crucial.
- Challenge another player through the multiplayer features included with the GOG release.
