IRONCLAD (1996) gog-1
IRONCLAD is a 1996 side-scrolling shoot 'em up where you pilot a warship alongside the detachable Iron Clad unit to battle the Iron Mask Republic. Blast through enemy formations, upgrade your three main weapons with power-ups, and charge powerful attacks while Iron Clad is attached. Detach it to alter your firing pattern and strike from different angles, use three melee weapon types for close combat, and deploy a bomber attack to clear bullets and escape danger. Progress through branching stage routes that lead to different bosses and endings as you fight to save the Kingdom of Chop.
