Twinkle Star Sprites is a competitive 2D shooter where two players battle on opposite sides of the screen. Choose from nine characters, each with unique attacks and personalities. Destroy chains of Enemy Golems to send Attack Characters toward your opponent. Use charged Power Shots to clear enemies and create offensive opportunities. Deploy Bombs when overwhelmed to regain space. Play Story Mode following Lord Ran’s adventure, Character Mode to clear the game with different fighters, or Versus Mode for local and online multiplayer matches.

- Choose from nine playable characters with different attacks, personalities, and visual styles.
- Destroy groups of Enemy Golems in Chain Explosions to send attacks toward your opponent.
- Charge powerful Power Shots to clear enemies and create stronger offensive opportunities.
- Use Bombs when the screen becomes too dangerous and you need space to recover.
- Turn defeated enemies into Attack Characters that cross over and pressure the opposing player.
- Follow Lord Ran’s adventure in Story Mode or clear the game with different characters in Character Mode.
- Challenge another player locally in Versus Mode or compete online with other GOG users.
